I have co-created a brand new series called Poly that’s being funded through Seed&Spark. It’s about a polyamorous triad that moves to the suburbs. It’s and LGBTQ Comedy, but I need your help to get it done.
We live in a world where you have to fund the content you want to see. I don’t agree with it, but I want to make it happen. Independent filmmaking allows for intersectional feminist content to get made. By contributing to our campaign, you’re showing queer film has an audience, that audience has a little money, and advertisers can make money. Funding queer projects allows for more to be made. This is one step of many. Let’s represent some non-heteronormative values, okay?

At last… Here is the key art for my short film, Politically Correct.
As someone passionate about issues of diversity and representation in media, I thought it would be fun to write a short with my friend about writers who try too hard to give representation to various marginalized groups. Hopefully, it will be coming to a film festival near you.
The Listeners (2015)
The Listeners (2015) is the new documentary feature film from Wimray Films exploring the role of crisis phone lines in mental health care and the many people, often volunteers, who answer calls. The film follows a cohort of new volunteers at the Headquarters Counseling Center in Lawrence, Kansas, who undergo rigorous training to staff crisis lines. The Listeners will deliver a powerful and uplifting message of acceptance, altruism, and empathy.

Rape and sexual assault are the only crimes where the victims are blamed. No matter how someone is dancing, what they are wearing, how much they have had to drink, or their gender, nobody is asking for it. Let’s make our world a better place.
